Today was one of the most amazing days of our lives! After much anticipation, Hyrum Joseph Tangren was born at 11:44AM this morning, May 11, 2007. He weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long...just a little guy! He was born with dark blue eyes and a little bit of sandy blond hair that's just a little curly. He's named after Derek's two grandfathers (one whose name was Hyrum and the other whose name was Joseph). He's just such an adorable little man! We are just so happy to have this little blessing added to our family.

CONGRATULATIONS!! We are so happy for you guys to join the joys of parenting! We hope everyone is doing well and that the adjustment period goes smoothly. Good luck with recovery, nursing, lack of sleep, extreme emotions, and an incredible time to bond! Love you guys! He's so handsome!
