Since I've already told the story of this easter weekend to most who read this blog I'll spare you the repeat and just show you pictures!
Community Easter egg hunt: 5 minutes late= miss the whole thing
Not too sure about the Easter bunny
Cheerio trail to his easter basket and the very first bouncy ball he's ever owned! :)
I put the Cheerios in his basket ( He wasn't too interested in following the trail) then while we were watching The Ten Commandments he found them and ate them like they were popcorn.
Sunday Best
We are a Happy Family!!!
Some friends of ours invited us over for dinner. Then their daughters hid some eggs for Hyrum to find! We had a great time and a great Easter weekend! :)

Nice pictures! I can't believe you missed the whole thing for being a few minutes late! :( Funny picture with a funny Easter bunny! Love the family picture. Hyrum practically climbed into his basket to get those Cherrios- so cute!!

What a cute Easter boy! The Easter Bunny makes a trail at our house too, only it's with jelly beans. This year, making three trails, about put Easter bunny in the poor house, but it's a cute idea. :) I love that you did it with cheerios. Smart!!
You will find that I am not a person who is likely on time for anything, but I learned early that community Easter egg hunts, are one thing I am never late for. They start on time and the eggs are gone in the first 53 seconds. :) I'm sorry you missed it.
Hy looks adorable in his Easter get up too. You guys are cute little family. Happy Easter!

Jen, you should go to my sister Holly's blog (The Averys "Here comes Peter Cottontail")to see the cute little poem the Easter bunny put on their baskets to let them know there would be no more jelly bean trail. Although with as young as at least Sadie is you may be in for a few more years of jellybean trails...just tell the Easter bunny to space them more :) We did Cheerios because he eats them off the floor anyway so I thought he'd go for it ...not so much. Oh well! I'm sure once he discovers jelly beans we won't have a problem in future Easters. It's really no big deal that we missed the egg hunt it wasn't like he was even going to pick anything off the ground but grass and sticks...and then eat them of course. He did eventually smile on the easter bunny's lap but neither we nor the person taking pictures for Alberstons captured it. I know isn't that funny. I'd free him from the basket and he'd climb right back in!It was making me laugh so much.
