Omniture's (my company) mantra is "Mean People Suck." When you get hired on, you get a license plate cover so, if you desire, you can spread the mantra to others on the road while you enjoy the time honored Utah driving tradition of cutting people off on the freeway.
If you are reading this, you know that we recently started requiring people log in to view the latest on our blog. Last week we had a random person, apparently a 45 year-old from South Korea, post a reply to one of our blog posts telling us how cute our baby was along with a link to his blog. We opted not to visit his site (chances of it being a porn site....somewhere in the 90% range...or he has set up some kind of software that posts a link to his site on random people's blogs and has put up a bunch of advertising on his site to rake in the $$$$) and while it's possible he's just some nice 45 year-old South Korean guy, we decided it was certainly better safe than sorry. It reminded me once again that, yes, mean people suck.
So, that's the story of why you now need to go through the rig-a-ma-roe of logging in.

Yeah that stuff happens unfortunately. I've thought of going that route myself...but so far, so good.
