They say that you can't kill a tree by pruning it unless the cut comes inches above the soil... We may be testing that theory...we'll see! So to be continued...

    They look great! And I would have taken off even more and my trees survived (and thrived), so I wouldn't worry:)

    We actually took off more after I took the pictures. But yeah now that I'm looking at them I think I should have taken off even more than I did too. :) Thanks for the reassurance Gabrielle!

    I know nothing of pruning, and I'm fairly certain I killed all three of the trees I planted last year... so, any living vegetation makes me envious of you! Come teach me everything you know!!
