I apologize for the poor quality of the video and my son's ensemble but we were waiting for his jammies to dry and were trying to keep the mood subdued so he wouldn't get too worked up before bed. I just had to get a video of this. It's one of my favorites! :)
Derek has been teaching himself to play the guitar. He's getting pretty good! It's good that Hyrum keeps him motivated to keep playing. In the meantime Derek and I need to remember the sequence of what we have Hyrum do if he's happy...and he knows it. :)

Very cute. What a precious memory to have on video. I have a feeling that it will be moments like that we will miss when they are grown. And I didn't know Derek could play guitar!

Hy is such a doll! It's so fun to see him so animated. And it was great to see you guys this past weekend! Bummer we didn't get to talk, but with nicer weather coming, we'll hopefully have more occassions (one in particular we're hoping!) to see each other!
